Jason Hoar

Owner

Jason grew up in Blackhawk, South Dakota. His friend and predecessor Michael sold him the business in 2002 while they were in college. He has kept it running and growing ever since and also acts as the lead entertainer and Master of Ceremonies. He also free-lances as a rigging and audio technician locally and across the country working for other large national companies. When he has free time, he enjoys spending time with his two wild rat terriers and his wife when their schedules match. He loves archery, shooting sports, and mountain biking.

Luke Suurmeier

Entertainer

Luke has been with the company since 2012 and acts as one of our Master of Ceremonies and is part of our production crew. He has shown he is very capable of hard work and handling a crowd. We love his personality and appreciate everything he brings to the crew. In his free time he enjoys his motorcycles, snowboarding, spending time with his girlfriend and their dogs.

Jacob West

Jacob has been with Powerhouse since 2015 as a Master of Ceremonies and lighting designer. He learned quickly how to handle the wedding scenes. Jacob has been very accomplished through school and working for our company as well. He enjoys traveling and spending his free time outside exploring the Black Hills.
